Want to Buy Like A Diamond Dealer?
O.K. Here's answers to some of the most Frequently Asked Questions. We encourage you to contact us with any additional questions. We will reply to all your inquiries. For questions about natural diamonds visit Hadar Diamonds click here.

Is Russian Brilliants Really a Diamond?
No. Russian Brilliants® is a laboratory-grown stone that was developed in Russia and used in their satellite optics program. Being hand-cut it takes on many of the visual properties of a natural diamond. A one carat of Russian Brilliants® with its brilliance and fire is equivalent to the world's finest D flawless diamond valued at $16,000.

Will people believe Russian Brilliants is a natural diamond?
Only if you tell them. We have never received any information to the contrary.

What will a jeweler say?
On a certain level jewelers perceive us as competing for their business. At times, they feel like they are being tested. For these reasons many jewelers will not offer many flattering comments. Russian Brilliants® is a relatively new product. Jewelers are very knowledgeable about natural diamonds but are not familiar with Russian Brilliants® and other new simulated stones. Quite often jewelers confuse Russian Brilliants® with the mass produced, machine stamped or moissanite.

Is Russian Brilliants hard enough to have a personal inscription inscribed on the stone?
Yes. It can be seen under 10X magnification.

What is the cost of the personal inscription?
$60

Can my ring be sized if I gain or lose weight?
Having a Russian Brilliant in your ring will not effect sizing. Many women participate in weight loss programs therefore finger sizes change. Russian Brilliants can be removed and reset like a natural diamond. Ring sizing due to weight loss or gain is done as a courtesy.

Does Russian Brilliants come in different shapes and sizes?
Yes. You can purchase sizes ranging from 10 to a 18 ct stone.

Can I purchase Russian Brilliants® diamonds in different colors?
Yes. However, since this is a relatively new product only intense fancy yellow and canary yellow stones are currently available. In addition, a beautiful tanzanite is offered. This gem is produced as a 90% blue and 10% purple stone. With it's amazing sparkle it mimics the finest tanzanite ever mined.

Will the Color ever fade?
Being hand-cut, the production of Russian Brilliants® has been relatively small. However, we have never heard of any problems associated with a color change.

How is Russian Brilliants cleaned?
Simply drop one Alka Seltzer tablet in a half glass of warm water. Your jewelry will be safe too.

Do you offer any guarantee or refund?
Yes. We guarantee that the color will not change. The stone is almost as hard as a natural diamond and it can chip in the same way a diamond will. Hadar has a 7-day refund or exchange policy. Starts day you receive package. Postmarked 7 days later for return.

Can I purchase Russian Brilliants® with inclusions or in J, K, L colors?
No. We have not heard of any production of these goods that fit these descriptions. If this does come on the market, we will not sell it.

Can you help me with a ring, earrings, tennis bracelet or other jewelry purchase?
Yes. With our 27 years of trade experience, we are quite familiar with many Jewelry designers and manufacturers. We strive to be your jewelry supplier for life.

What about sales tax?
If you are a California resident, you will be required to pay sales tax.

How long does delivery take?
Loose stones are shipped within 3 days. Solitaires, Earrings and Pendants take 5-6 working days. All designer and fashion rings are custom manufactured. (All sizes available.) Average delivery time is 10-12 working days.
